Sirius Star Marketing – The Niche Market Experience!

Sirius Star Marketing has found that its niche market - Singapore, is one of the most open, and competitive markets in the world.

The 2011 Business Index ranks Singapore as the best country in the world to do business - ahead of Hong Kong and New Zealand. Singapore is also ranked third in the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report behind Switzerland and Sweden. Besides the innovative and highly successful economic system, the company has found equally strong roles dubbed as the Singapore model.

The Singapore Model was born out of necessity. In the beginning for Sirius Star Marketing, Singapore was a relatively small domestic market, and thus has to open its economy to external markets in order for the economy to thrive. However, the economic policies by the government have safeguarded the country from fluctuations in the global market. Apart from these policies, the government has also actively encouraged new industries to develop in Singapore so as to respond to the needs of the global market. This has helped the company to achieve a reach beyond the borders.

Face-to-face marketing, is all about rapport

The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is to know how to get along with people”
—Theodore Roosevelt

Sirius Star Marketing follows the above famous quote. The company further illustrates "Imagine about people you feel at ease with. It could be your better half, other members of your family, friends, business fellows, clients, and even the postman. What do you find in them that make you feel at ease? Where does this comfortableness come from?

It may be because of a common interest you share with that person - a loved film, mutual friends and familiarities, or lookout on life. The results can be the same, and that what prompts us to do business with such people, and trust - people we feel at ease with.

Let’s presume you are approached by a prospective client and called for a thoughtful question. Let’s guess that this individual answers in a soft voice as in our former example. If you generally speak in a loud voice and don’t align the volume this person will feel estranged and comfortless and a fence of indifference will grow. When you lower your voice to equal theirs, the chance of making comfort is greatly raised. There are many hints to look for such as attitude, gestures, personal space. So all this makes a perfect ambience for that great customer relation, and a way of success in face-to-face marketing
